Age Requirements

Preschool: Students must turn 3 by the first day of school in August. The preschool classroom has up to 10 students a day. The Pre-K classroom has up to 12 students a day. Students entering Kindergarten must turn 5 by September 15. The Kindergarten classroom averages 12-15 students.

1.  Visit Campus (optional)

While a campus tour is not required we do highly encourage interested parents to schedule an in-person or virtual tour with the admission office or attend an open house in the fall.

2.  Submit Application

Your child’s application and a $30 non-refundable application fee must be submitted through our online admission portal. For processing during our preferred admission cycle, applications are due December 15.

3.  Student Assessment Visit

Applicants for the Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten programs spend 15 minutes with one of our teachers to assess readiness, motivation to learn in the classroom, and peer interaction. An admissions team member will schedule the assessment with you.

4.  Admission Committee Review

The Admissions Committee will review the application packet to determine whether the student and Vista Ridge Academy are an appropriate match.

5.  Admission Notification

Parents are notified of the Admission Committee’s decision by an email from the school Principal.

6.  Complete Enrollment Packet

Upon notification of acceptance, the enrollment packet and fee of $500  are due to Vista Ridge Academy to secure your child’s space.
